Host Your Special Event at the George Community Hall!

This handsome community center is a place where George Community events, meetings, and social gatherings can comfortably occur.

Since being remodeled in 2009, the GCH has proven to be a popular venue for Weddings, Reunions, Holiday get-togethers, and Family Celebrations. Its proximity to the beautiful George Community Park gives the facility extra usefulness and planning flexibility.

The GCH building has two floors. The ground-level has easy handicap access. The ADA restrooms are equipped with family-friendly changing tables. The 1,920 square-foot Meeting Room has a seating capacity of 118 persons and is just right for small weddings, recitals, dances, or memorial services, business meetings...you name it!

The downstairs Dining Room is 1,800 square feet and may be reached via stairs or elevator as needed. The room is equipped with 20 eight-foot tables and comfortable chairs. The seating capacity is 108 persons.

The Dining Room is decorated in neutral colors so that the colors you choose for your event will look great!

At the north end of the Dining Room is one of the finest Catering Kitchens in the entire Quincy Valley, with ample workspace for a whole team of chefs!

Approved by Grant County Health Department, the

GCH kitchen has a large food prep sink, a separate hand-washing sink, and a triple sink with a disposal for washing up. There are microwaves and two range-ovens for your use, as well as a large commercial cooler and freezer. A variety of sizes of coffeemakers are also available for your use.

All kitchen implements are in labeled cupboards or drawers, and everything is easy to find. You'll wish your home kitchen was this well-organized! We do ask that any consumable items which are used for your event be replaced by you, the renter.  Renter is responsible for all clean-up.
